Grassroots football is for the children. Here's how we protect and respect every young player — and exactly how to raise a concern.

Worried about a child?

Report a concern

If you're worried about the safety or wellbeing of a child, please speak up. You don't need to be certain — if something doesn't feel right, tell us.

In an emergency, if a child is in immediate danger, call the police on 999 straight away.

  1. Immediate danger? Call 999.
  2. Otherwise, contact our Welfare Officer below — by phone or email.
  3. You can also contact Hampshire FA, the NSPCC or CEOP directly (listed below).

Photography & filming

We love celebrating our players — but their safety comes first. We follow The FA's guidance on photographing and filming children.

  • We seek parental consent before publishing images of children.
  • We avoid naming a child alongside their photo.
  • Any matchday filming (e.g. VEO) follows FA guidance and permissions.
  • Concerns about an image? Let us know and we'll act quickly.
